Since the last update, I managed to pull together a new home view for the blog. All the content navigation is on the right now and the latest post has been integrated into the same section as the other content. I’ve finished a new 8bit remix but it’s not AKB48 related. If you’ve been watching my tweets, you probably know what I’m talking about. That’ll be up here eventually :D
I kinda want to do another mixtape. I’ve had my turntables for a bit over half a year and haven’t made a mix with them yet. Doing everything on-the-fly as opposed to just puzzling things together like I have in the past with FLStudio takes a lot more work and timing. I’m still getting used to doing everything and making it sound good at the same time so you might not even see a new mixtape until the summer…
I’ve earned my 2nd copyright strike on YouTube with the AKBINGO video. Yay! Since then, I’ve uploaded my latest accomplishment on Beat Hazard – “Survival Champion!” Reach 20 Minutes in Survival Mode. I used TechnoPopLove 4 since I’m familiar with the Boss ship patterns and their guns aren’t ridiculously ordered. You can check out the first of three videos below.

I’ll let you in on a secret, the mixtapes are what got me into j-pop AND techno music. I was looking online for something good two years ago, and found you! It also got me through my awful, awkward senior year!
It’s only be 5 so far, but I really love them! I would love for them to come out more consistantly! (And my birthday is coming up!)
why did you stop, by the way?
The biggest reason was because if I kept progressing at the rate I was, I’d exhaust my technopop library pretty quickly. I don’t really like reusing songs and I’ve just been waiting for more releases… I do believe Aira Mitsuki’s dropping something soon and there’s been a lot since the MEG-A-MIX so I think soon would be a good time for one :D
Another reason is that last summer, I actually purchased a set of turntables and, just this just this Christmas, splurged on buying Traktor Scratch. Since then, I’ve been learning the art of DJing and controlling music through vinyl. It’s a lot of work and forces you to learn songs and find good transition points on the fly… also, VOLUME CONTROL! xDD
But yeah, I think for TPL6, I’ll be sticking to my old methods of FLStudio… This is a lot of forward thinking but I think I’ll save the legit DJing for TPL7… :D
Also, thanks for sharing that little tidbit about yourself :D Hearing things like that really helps kicking me back into the swing of things. xD
Ahhh! Exciting! I cannot WAIT to see what you put out. I never know really what to listen to, or where to look for music, so TPL really gets me going in the right direction.
Hearing about you talk about DJing is so impressive! I wish I had that sort of talent!
I don’t know about impressive just yet xD I’m still learning and it might take a lot of planning for TPL7…
That and I’m just a hobbyist DJ… don’t plan on playing anywhere too public anytime in the foreseeable future… xD
